Data Deletion

This page is currently provided in English. Localized versions will follow in an app update.

Where your data lives

Your plant data and photos live on your device. Gardenix has no user accounts and keeps no copy of your garden on any server, so there is nothing on our side to delete.

Android: uninstalling removes the app's data from the device, but if Android backup is switched on, a copy remains in your own Google Drive and is restored if you reinstall. Removing that is a separate step — see below.

iPhone and iPad: uninstalling deletes all of it, and reinstalling starts from scratch. (If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, the app's data is part of that backup like any other app's; it is yours and we have no access to it.)

Deleting the Android backup

To remove the Google Drive copy: open the Google Drive app → Menu → Backups, select the Gardenix backup and delete it. To stop future backups, turn off Settings → Google → Backup (this affects all apps) or clear the app's data before uninstalling. The backup lives in your Google account, so we can neither read it nor delete it for you.

What the server stores

Our server keeps only anonymous usage counters (for example, how many analyses were used) tied to a random device identifier. They contain no personal information, no photos and no texts, and they expire automatically.

Requesting deletion

To have those server-side counters deleted, email support@altf4.sk from the device you use the app on and include your deletion request. We will respond within 30 days.
